We offer summer hunting in South – Greenland. All travel goes via Iceland and staying overnight in Iceland is often neseccary. Trips include 2 - 4 full days of hunting, depending on game and number of hunters.
Our area is the only one in Greenland producing SCI gold metal trophies. Temperature in South-Greenland in July August: 8-20 C° / 45 – 70 F°
Accommodation and food
We operate from our lodge in Ivituut when hunting Musk ox and Combo hunts. During Reindeer hunts we operate from Hotel Narsaq. Our lodge offers all the comforts you can think of, as in your own home. Hotel Narsaq is the best hotel in the town of Narsaq. No tent camps, no outdoor toilets. We offer 3 meals per day, snacks, soft drinks. Reindeer and Musk ox are on the menu, if clients wish to taste the game.
Method of hunting
Sailing along the coast in a 30-40 feet boat with a warm and comfortable cabin. When a trophy is spotted, we go to shore in a smaller open boat to stalk and further evaluate the trophy. This is repeated until we have found a good old trophy bull that the client is happy with.
There are both steep and flat coastal areas. Hunters can most often choose how hard terrain they want to deal with. We are the only outfitter in Greenland, working in an area, where you do not nesseccarily have to be very fit and walk your ass off.
Other activities
Free time after trophies have been harvested can be spent sightseeing, hunting seals, sea angling or fishing for Arctic char. We will provide a 22LR rifle and fishing tackle at no extra cost. An extra Musk Ox trophy can also be considered, if available.
Included: All transport and hotels in Iceland. Flights Iceland - Greenland - Iceland.
1 trophy Musk Ox and/or Reindeer bull regardless of size. All service from landing in Greenland until departure. Field trophy care. All documentation for importing guns via Iceland to Greenland and export documents for your trophy.
Not included: Food and drinks during stopover in Iceland. Dinners in Narsaq. Gratuitities. Alcoholic drinks.
